The US Embassy in Mauritius is providing financial support to 5 NGOs based here via the Democracy and Human Rights Fund. With the grants received that amount to a total of Rs 2.6 billion, these five organisms will be able to fund, over a year, their respective activities.
The beneficiaries are SOS Femmes, Women in Politics, Transparency Mauritius, the Mauritius Bar Association and the International Organization for Migration.
