L’accouchement s’est, heureusement, passé sans anicroche. Meghan Markle a mis au monde un garçon, a annoncé son époux, le prince Harry, ce lundi 6 mai. La mère et le nourrisson se portent bien, a fait savoir l’heureux papa mais aussi le service de communication de la famille royale britannique.
La duchesse de Sussex a accouché tôt ce matin, à 5h26. Sa mère est à son chevet à la propriétaire du couple royal, à Frogmore Cottage, où ils s’étaient retirés en attendant l’arrivée du bébé.
Le prince Harry a, dans une courte déclaration, dit son bonheur et celui de sa femme : «C’est la chose la plus merveilleuse.»
