Ministers Shiv Chandra Ram and Jai Kumar Singh visited the Aapravasi Ghat on the second day of their official visit in Mauritius, this July 3rd. The minister of Art, Culture and Youth of Bihar lauded the Mauritian government efforts to preserve bihari culture in the country. Specially by introducing Bhojpuri in primary schools.
Minister Chandra Ram expressed his wish to set up an annual exchange programme between the state of Bihar and Mauritius in order to facilitate travel and exchange programs around arts and bhojpuri.
