C’est la consécration d’une longue carrière. Le Dr Arjoon Suddhoo va quitter la direction du Mauritius Research Council (MRC) pour être le nouveau Deputy Secretary-General du Commonwealth Secretariat. «J’ai toujours voulu terminer ma carrière au sein d’une organisation internationale», confie cet ancien lauréat qui préside également aux destinées d’Air Mauritius.

Egalement président de la Mauritius Renewable Energy Agency (MARENA), cet ancien chercheur de Rolls Royce Aerospace prend ses fonctions à Londres le 29 avril prochain. Après ses études au Royaume-Uni, il y a vécu pendant quelques années avant de rentrer au pays, car, pour lui Personnellement, les meilleurs cerveaux mauriciens doivent avoir un frottement international afin de voir comment de grands projets sont réalisés.
